Midday to twilight

A real Reelpix conversion — same frontage, lights on, sky replaced.

Hold to compare · Day to dusk: twilight sky, interior and garden lights on.

How it works

1

Shoot the front

Whatever the light is doing. Take it on your phone at the property, or upload from your camera roll.

2

Tap Twilight

One button under Style. Tick "Apply to all photos" if you want the whole exterior set converted consistently.

3

Download and list

Save straight to your camera roll on a phone, or as a folder or zip on a desktop.

What it costs

One credit, same as any other edit. Run the twilight version and the daytime version, and put whichever one actually looks better at the top of the listing.

One credit

Packs start at A$19.99 for 10 photos. No subscription, credits roll over, and a failed edit refunds itself.

Why the hero shot matters more than the other nineteen

The first image is the one buyers see as a thumbnail while they scroll past hundreds of listings on realestate.com.au and Domain. It is usually the front exterior, and it is usually shot whenever the appointment happened to be — which is to say, rarely in good light.

A dusk conversion is the single highest-leverage edit on a listing because it changes the thumbnail. Warm windows read as "someone lives here and it is lovely"; a flat grey midday frontage reads as nothing at all.

The traditional way to get one is to send the photo away and wait 24 hours, or to drive back to the property at the right time of evening. Neither is realistic when the vendor wants the listing live tomorrow.

What the conversion actually changes

The sky is replaced with a twilight gradient, the interior lights and exterior fittings are turned on, and the overall exposure is rebalanced for the lower light. Reflections in windows and on water are matched to the new sky so the result holds together.

The building itself is not altered. Reelpix's edits are built to keep the property's actual condition intact — that is what keeps a dusk conversion on the right side of Australian Consumer Law, which draws the line at misrepresenting what is actually there.

If an edit ever takes longer than 5 minutes, it is failed automatically and the credit is refunded. You are never left waiting on a job that has quietly died.

Common questions

How long does a conversion take?

Minutes, not the 24 hours a traditional editing service takes — fast enough to do at the property. Anything that runs past 5 minutes is failed and the credit refunded automatically.

Can I convert a whole set of exteriors at once?

Yes. Tick "Apply to all photos in this project" and the same style is applied across the set, with the instruction to hold lighting consistent between them.

What if I do not like the result?

Use Revise to describe a change — "make the sky a little warmer" — which keeps the previous edits and applies your adjustment. Each revision is one credit. Undo steps back through the session for free.

Do I need to disclose a dusk conversion?

Follow your agency and state institute guidance. A dusk conversion changes the time of day rather than the property, which is generally treated differently from staging — but Australian Consumer Law still prohibits creating a misleading overall impression, so disclose where your agency requires it.

What other styles are there?

Seven in total: Twilight, Morning Glow, Golden Hour, Architectural, Country Style, Real Estate Pop and Perfection. Each is one button and one credit per photo.
